Drugs:

Process:

              Grind drugs 1 to 6 with 7 for 5 days. Make into small cakes and dry. Seal in disc crucible and burn for 24 hours. The chendoornam should be of dark purple color. If not, repeat grinding the sublimed mercury and material at bottom and heat till satisfactory.

Indications:

              Anaemic conditions, scrofula, colic, head ache and rheumatic diseases. Also in piles, uterine disorders, orchitis, gastric ulcer, myalgia, fissured soles, syphilis, hernia, tuberculosis, bubo and sprue.

Dosage:

             100 to 200 mg. twice  daily with honey or powder of three pungents.
